Hello from the far corner of NE Montana,
Well winter has finally found us. Today it is windy and cold in my little corner of the world. The holiday's are coming in fast. I hope you are all ready for Christmas.
Membership is coming in steady. As of 12-4, Montana is sitting at 61.17%. That is amazing and you all should be giving yourself a pat on the back. Our Northwestern Division is in 1st place at 66.51%. As our National President says " Always Keeping it fun as you LEAD THE WAY."
I have updated the website with the Girls and Boys State Registration form. You can now print it of. If you have trouble with it, please reach out. It can also be found on the Legion's website: MTLEGION.ORG.
Now onto our Department Fundraiser…the 2000 Ford Mustang Convertible, We are
excited, we have had tickets and money turned in already.
We hope you are selling, selling, selling! The tickets are easy to sell, if you need more,
they are in books of 10 and I can mail them out. I am attaching the poster if you want to
print more.
We have cash prizes for the top three Districts selling the most tickets, $300, $200, and
$100. We will be drawing for the Mustang at our Department Convention on June 21, 2025.
I would also like to touch on the fact that we are looking for a new Secretary. Renee is going to be stepping down and we need to find her replacement. The sooner the better. If we can get someone in soon, Renee can start training that individual. I will post the job description on the website. If you have any questions on that please reach out.
I would also like to put out there, that our state convention will be held in Helena this year. It was suppose to be in Calgary, but the Legion has decided that there wasn't enough support in Calgary to have it there. So, Helena it is. But we need a unit or district to host for us. The ALA department can not afford this. Please reach out if you can help with this. I do appreciate any help!!!
